Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Informatica Developer to join our team. This role is crucial for providing daily support for existing Informatica workloads, resolving issues, and designing, building, and maintaining new Informatica workflows based on business requirements. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure our data integration solutions are scalable, flexible, and efficient.
Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities
The Senior Informatica Developer will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
Daily Support and Troubleshooting: Providing daily support for existing Informatica workloads, including issue resolution and troubleshooting.
Design and Maintenance: Designing, building, and maintaining new Informatica workflows based on business requirements.
Subject Matter Expertise: Acting as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and sharing best practices for optimal platform use.
Platform Administration: Assisting with platform administration, performance tuning, and standards definition.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure Informatica solutions meet evolving data integration needs.
ETL Development: Supporting, troubleshooting, tuning performance, and fixing existing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) systems.
Data Flow Analysis: Tracing data flows from source to target systems for both current and future solutions.
Requirements Analysis: Analyzing solution requirements, including source data, target systems, and necessary transformations.
Workflow Management: Creating, updating, documenting, and scheduling ETL workflows.
Architecture & Standards: Collaborating with the team to define information architecture and promote consistent, secure, and reusable design practices.
Data Modeling: Reviewing and interpreting relational and dimensional data models.
Data Warehouse Development: Developing ETL processes for data warehouse environments (inbound and outbound).
Modern Data Management: Leveraging modern data management techniques, including integration with data lakes, data lakehouse, and cloud-native architectures to support scalable, flexible, and efficient data solutions.
Resource Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Informatica development, with relevant certification.
Proven expertise in designing, developing, deploying, testing, and maintaining Informatica ETL solutions.
Extensive hands-on experience with design, development, and deployment of Informatica solutions.
Extensive experience with data warehousing best practices.
Experience in the insurance sector is considered an asset.

Technical Skills (Depth & Breadth)
Proficient in relational database design, development, and optimization, including SQL, Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server.
Proficient in data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling, including design, development, and optimization.
Proficient in data management techniques, including integration with data lakes, data lakehouse, and cloud-native architectures.
Skilled in analyzing business and technical requirements and producing high- and low-level design documentation.
Professional & Process Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, leadership, and external vendors.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities within established deadlines.
Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Design Thinking, and Lean principles.
Working knowledge of ITIL Service Management principles, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
