Project Details:

Based at our project in Northern B.C., this will be a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation opportunity

Responsibilities:

The Remote Scoop Operator is responsible and accountable for the following:

Strictly adhere to all legislated regulations, including the BC Mines Act, as well as company Health & Safety policies to ensure safe work practices and uphold Health & Safety as the top priority. Remote Mucking underground ore/waste material from various levels underground and loading haul trucks for removal. Installation of mine services. Other mining related tasks as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Minimum two (2) years working full-time in an underground mining environment. Minimum two (2) years experience operating a 6 and 8 m3 remote scoop. Previous experience remote mucking out stopes. Demonstrates strong comprehension skills when reading written instructions or receiving verbal guidance, ensuring tasks are performed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Participate in daily toolbox meetings and "welcome back" sessions upon returning to site to ensure alignment with safety protocols and operational updates. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, punctuality, and an unwavering commitment to safety. Must be willing to work a 3-weeks-on / 3-weeks-off rotational schedule. Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs repetitively and consistently throughout the workday. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse crews and adapt seamlessly to different team dynamics. Maintains a positive attitude and takes initiative as a proactive contributor to high-performing teams. Thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining focus, efficiency, and safety standards. This position involves frequent air travel to and from the work site. Applicants must meet all legislated requirements for air travel to work at the remote site camp. You will be required to work both dayshift and nightshift as part of the rotational schedule 21 days on site, 21 days off site. For this safety sensitive position, you will be required to undergo a background check and be required to undergo a substance test and pre-employment testing.

What we offer:

Competitive annual salary ranging between $128,000 - $150,000 based on experience and qualifications. The wage ranges are comprised of the hourly wage plus applicable premiums and calculated on an average number of rotations worked per year Travel and accommodation arranged and provided Group RRSP Extended Health Care benefits, including Employee Assistance Program Paid time
