Core Duties (What You Will Achieve)



Deliver top-tier, individualized instruction in

Physics

to high school and pre-university students, spanning foundational mechanics to complex advanced principles (e.g., covering concepts like classical mechanics or electricity and magnetism). Systematically diagnose each student's unique learning needs and develop fully

customized, effective learning plans

aimed at building a profound, conceptual grasp of physics. Lead dynamic and engaging virtual sessions using advanced digital tools and teaching platforms. Closely track student progress and deliver specific, actionable feedback to accelerate the development of their analytical and physics problem-solving skills. Collaborate constructively with our administrative team and fellow instructors to ensure holistic support for student outcomes. Maintain thorough awareness of the latest

Ontario curriculum requirements

and current effective teaching strategies applicable to Physics.

Required Profile (Your Experience & Skills)



A

Bachelor's degree or higher

in Physics, Applied Science, or a relevant scientific discipline. Demonstrated proficiency in creating comprehensive, high-quality lesson materials and learning aids. Extensive prior teaching or

tutoring experience specifically at the high school level

, showcasing a strong theoretical command of physics and adaptable teaching methods. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a genuine enthusiasm for motivating students in STEM fields. The essential capability to maintain a supportive, focused, and stimulating online instructional environment. A naturally patient and empathetic teaching style, allowing you to effectively address a variety of learning differences. The required flexibility to accommodate varied student schedules, including peak times during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
