Key Responsibilities
Deliver premium, one-on-one instruction in
Physics
to high school and advanced students, covering fundamental concepts through to complex principles.
Evaluate the individual learning needs of each student and develop customized, effective lesson plans that foster a deep, conceptual understanding of physics.
Conduct engaging and highly interactive tutoring sessions using various digital tools and platforms.
Monitor students' academic progression closely and provide constructive, targeted feedback to enhance their physics skills.
Collaborate effectively with our staff and other instructors to support a holistic approach to student success.
Maintain currency with the latest
Ontario curriculum standards
and educational best practices in Physics.
What You Bring
A
Bachelor's degree or higher
in Physics or a closely related scientific field.
Proven ability to develop comprehensive and high-quality instructional materials.
Demonstrated, extensive teaching or tutoring experience at the high school level, showing a strong command of physics concepts and diverse teaching methods.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a genuine passion for motivating students.
The capacity to create a supportive, engaging, and stimulating online learning atmosphere.
A patient and empathetic teaching approach, capable of effectively catering to diverse learning styles.
Flexibility to accommodate students' scheduling needs, including availability during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
