Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Mental Health) - Remote

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioners to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals navigating a range of mental health challenges. This position is open

to licensed Nurse Practitioners all across Canada.

As part of our team, you will focus on providing patient care, including diagnosing, treatment planning, and medication management for individuals with diverse mental health needs such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other mood or behavioural disorders.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to diagnose conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other psychiatric disorders. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Provide medication management and ensure safe and effective prescribing practices. Monitor patient progress, assess treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary. Offer empathetic support and guidance to patients managing complex mental health challenges. Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure holistic and effective patient care.
Requirements:

Licensed Nurse Practitioner registered with the appropriate provincial or territorial regulatory body (e.g., College of Registered Nurses in Ontario). NP-PHC or NP-Adult is required with extensive mental health experience preferred Must have 3-5 years or demonstrated expertise in working with clients with ADHD issues. Proficient in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Strong understanding of evidence-based treatments and medication management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and team members. Ability to work remotely, flexibly and provide virtual care services. Independent prescribing authority.

Compensation:

$100 - $120 CAD/hour for independent contractors. The compensation listed above may vary depending on a candidate's relevant qualifications, knowledge, competencies, and experience.
