Position Overview

We are seeking a

Registered Counsellor, Psychologist, or Social Worker

to provide

remote mental health and addiction counselling

across Alberta. This role is ideal for clinicians experienced in

behavioural change, chronic pain counselling, smoking and alcohol cessation, eating disorders, and mood management

.

You will deliver

virtual therapy sessions

to adults and families through our secure telehealth platform, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team focused on whole-person health.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual counselling and therapy via telehealth for

depression, anxiety, stress, grief, and relationship challenges

. Deliver evidence-based

behaviour change counselling

for

addiction (smoking/alcohol), chronic pain, eating disorders, and lifestyle modification

. Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and maintain compliant electronic records. Collaborate with physiotherapists, dietitians, and exercise professionals to integrate care.

Qualifications

Master's degree in

Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Social Work

(or equivalent). Active registration with a relevant Alberta regulatory college (e.g.,

CAP, ACSW, CCPA

). Minimum 3-5 years of clinical counselling experience post-master's. Skilled in

CBT, ACT, or Solution-Focused Therapy

. Experience in

telehealth counselling

and using digital EMRs (JaneApp experience preferred). Experience in

addiction, chronic pain, and eating disorder counselling

required;

sport psychology

experience considered an asset.
