What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be Doing

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be joining CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s Remote Access Services team. The team is accountable for Operational Support, Engineering and Service Ownership of CIBC\'s Remote Infrastructure. Services that the team is accountable for include Citrix Cloud and Citrix on-premise, Citrix Remote PC management and support, Windows 10/11 VDI IPU, Windows 11 Non-Persistent VDI OS layering and app repackaging, Citrix Agents currency and Endpoint agents: MS Defender, SCCM, Bit9, Citrix VDA.

The selected candidate will have experience configuring / deploying and supporting Citrix. You will be responsible for providing level 2 support and analysis of technical issues, service outages and questions for all Internal and External Citrix infrastructure services by maintaining, prioritizing and addressing with respective CIBC Technology groups and vendors. You will be responsible for maintaining the production infrastructure services and day-to-day operational activities, manage escalations and modify established procedures / approaches to suit specific situations including coordination of recovery efforts.

You will also provide consulting and support for other base and project related work. This role does have a 24 x 7 rotational On-call requirement.

How You\xe2\x80\x99ll Succeed

  • Production Support - Investigate and define operational issues and prioritize based on severity, risk and/or strategic business needs. Manage issue logs and ad-hoc requests. Design and implement solutions to prevent recurrence with the end goal of ensuring clients satisfaction.
  • Partnership - Work as a regular liaison with business partners, technology partners, senior management team, internal and external clients. Ensure internal clients are well-informed of the team mandate and nature, including relevant policies and standards changes. Promote and support the concepts, products and services of the Remote Access Services teams.
  • Projects Delivery - Act as subject matter expert in the assessment of impacts for planned system changes and projects, ensuring compliance with relevant organization standards (Business, Continuity, Security, Compliance, and Privacy); develop and maintain productive relationships with Technology, QA, Project team and others. Research, analyze and support the development and implementation of new and/or revised policies, procedures and standards. Investigate, analyze and provide recommendations on issues and system outages. Provide consulting, solutioning and testing for select base and project intake work.
