Release Team is responsible for planning, designing, scheduling, testing, deploying and controlling application software releases.
Responsibilities:
Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with many cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and developers.
Experience in efficiently deliver the applications and upgrades required by the business while maintaining the integrity of the production environment.
Has experience Release Management activities (Planning, Governance, execution and communications)
Organized and prepared to manage multiple parallel pieces of work
Develops technology road maps, while keeping up to date with emerging technologies, and recommends business directions based on these technologies.
Requires sophisticated analytical thought to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations.
Ability to develop working relationships with other architects and IT application managers.
Planning and Managing each Release Lifecyle
Managing, Planning, and negotiating the Release activities
Managing Release Risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules.
Communicate all key Release plans, commitments, and changes to Stakeholders
Measuring and Monitoring Release Progress
Co-ordinating processes and managing relationships between different teams, in different locations.
Leading and Co-ordinating Release Checklist
Maintain Release Repository and managing key Release information.
Ensuring teams follow Release Management established policies and procedures.
Making improvements on a regular basis to the release process.
