Relocation Assistance may be available.Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Rehabilitation Assistant to join the Home Health City Wide Community Program team in Vancouver, BC. Apply today to join our team!As a Rehabilitation Assistant with VCH you will:

• Function under the operational supervision of the Manager or Team Leader and the work direction of a licensed designated occupational therapist or physiotherapist to work as a member of the health care team.
• Provide assigned physical / occupational therapy therapeutic interventions.
• Assist in modification of OT/ PT care plans and facilitate transition to community programs in order to enable clients to maximize potential for independence.
• Provide functional direction to family, report relevant observations of client\'s condition in writing or by utilizing basic computer literacy, manage equipment safety and inventory.

QualificationsEducation & Experience

• Completion of a recognized Diploma level Rehabilitation Assistant Program with Occupational and Physical therapy components plus one (1) year\'s recent, related experience working with target population.
• Valid BC Drivers License. Local area travel requires the use of a personal vehicle for which mileage will be reimbursed.
