Envirogreen Technologies Ltd. (ETL) is an established waste management company, leading the way in the treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. Our permitted hazardous waste treatment facility located outside of Princeton, BC, utilizes thermal desorption technology to treat a wide range of industrial waste and contaminated soil.
The Opportunity
ETL is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Team Lead to join our team. The Regulatory Compliance Team Lead reports to the Regulatory Compliance Manager and works with Regulatory Compliance team and other staff to support the Regulatory Compliance Program through various due diligence activities.
Job Duties
Support and coach Regulatory Compliance team to ensure environmental regulatory compliance for the Company
Conduct training and compliance reviews of operational programs
Ensure regulatory activities are being conducted at the prescribed frequency and corrective actions identified and followed up
Completion of internal and external inspection/audit documents
Manage compliance calendar including meeting deadlines and executing follow up actions, as required
Ensure production materials and records are utilized efficiently and accurately
Provide support in capital projects, as needed
Liaise with regulatory authorities, as required
Any other duties assigned by respective Supervisor
Requirements
Post secondary degree or diploma in environmental engineering, environmental management, or other related field is required
Ideally 10+ years of environmental regulatory compliance experience
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing and data analysis
Collaborative but willing to make informed decisions independently
Currently registered, or immediately eligible for registration, with a related professional regulatory body established under the BC Professional Governance Act (e.g. ASTTBC, BCIA, EGBC)
Focused on creative problem solving
Valid drivers license with no limitations on driving to facility in Princeton, BC

Salary: Annual salary of $90,000.00 to $100,000.00
