As a Regulatory Compliance Learning Specialist, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to learn new subjects, identify key points, and utilize learning techniques to develop computer based regulatory training that motivates and stimulates adult learners. Your goal will be focused on designing companywide regulatory compliance training and offerings. Your success will be demonstrated in supporting the reduction of regulatory compliance risk in all jurisdictions in which Irving Oil operates.

Your Responsibilities:Develop regulatory training content by creating learning objectives, detailed outlines, and instructional materials
Apply instructional design principles to create SCORM-compliant, reusable learning objects for CBT (Computer-Based Training) modules
Evaluate and select appropriate instructional strategies tailored to computer-based learning requirements
Incorporate interface design principles, usability testing, and cultural considerations into CBT development
Design and implement self-paced learning products using proven instructional theories and components
Create engaging training modules and assessments that support diverse learning styles and needs
Maintain, update, and continuously improve existing CBT modules to ensure relevance and effectiveness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to develop and validate training content
Coordinate the rollout of regulatory compliance training and support stakeholders throughout the process
Your Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of an organization
Highly organized and detail-oriented with a disciplined approach to managing tasks and achieving results
Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships in dynamic environments
Adaptable and enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional growth
Advanced research and analytical skills with knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 365) and experienced with Articulate 360 and SCORM-compliant eLearning tools
Your Experience:Post-secondary degree in Business
Master's degree in Adult Education (an asset)
5-10 years of related experience
