Our strategic partner has an exciting opportunity for those with a background in business or compliance looking to return to work after a career break. Whether you have been on childcare/family leave, furloughed, or unemployed, you will receive specific business analysis training through the FDM Academy, before starting your new and exciting journey with this client.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Business Analyst with FDM, you will undergo industry-specific training and continue your career journey as an FDM consultant by working for one of the top financial institutions in Canada.
A Regulatory Business Analyst will:
- Work with business stakeholders to understand and clarify requirements from a Risk, Regulation and Compliance perspective
- Translate requirements/business stories into acceptance criteria so that it is readily understood by the developers
- Facilitate refinement sessions to give story points and explain the tickets
- Engage with stakeholders to have correct/enough inputs to the team
- Business Analysis
- Project Management
- MS Excel & SQL
- Jira/Confluence
- Agile Methodology
- Risk Regulation & Compliance
- Passion for learning new regulations, systems, processes and bridging the gap between business and technology-related issues
- Desire to re-start your career in a dynamic industry like technology and financial services
- Prior experience working in a business analyst or project management role, preferably in the financial services sector
