Position: Registered Social Worker (MSW) Reporting to: Psychology Department Manager Location: Virtual/In-community (Hybrid) About Us: E Clinic United Healing is a privately operated, inter-professional facility that specializes in the treatment of individuals who have sustained injuries in a motor vehicle accident. We have a team of regulated health care professionals that provide services to our clients in a positive, professional, and welcoming environment and in a client centered approach. We are currently looking for Registered Social workers (MSW) to join our team for providing psychotherapy virtually and occasional home visits across Ontario. Position Summary: Reporting to the Psychology Department Manager, you will be providing virtual psychotherapy and treatment services to a diverse group of individuals. The successful candidate will be working with individuals that have sustained an injury in a Motor Vehicle accident and facilitating their treatment plans and deliver their treatment services under the scope of a social worker. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Meet clients for assessments, counselling, and psychotherapy treatment services;
  • Take detailed medical histories from your patients;
  • Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress through treatment plans and monitor, evaluate and record clients\xe2\x80\x99 progress;
  • Keep accurate, timely and confidential clinical records as well as provide progress reports, discharge reports, etc.; and
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications Experience:
  • Motor Vehicle Accident/Trauma experience an asset
  • Couples and Group Therapy/counselling an asset
Education and Certifications:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in social work, counselling, or psychology
  • Registration and good standing with Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and/or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
  • Professional liability Certificate
  • Drivers License
Knowledge and Skills:
  • High level of professional communication verbal and written
  • Knowledge of best practice in storage, transferring and creating clinical notes, clinical documentation and able to follow legislation and college requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively as member of a interdisciplinary care team.
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • Experience working with individuals that have sustained injuries and issues related to a traumatic event such as a motor vehicle accident.

  • Master\'s Degree (preferred)
Experience:
  • Trauma/Motor Vehicle Accident Industry: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Membership with OCSWSSW (preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON
