Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (Farsi Speaking) to join our team as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counseling to individuals, families, and groups, with a focus on various therapeutic modalities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various challenges.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine the needs of clients. Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage crisis situations effectively. Develop personalized treatment plans that address clients' specific needs, including PTSD care, addiction counseling, grief counseling, and behavioral therapy. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes. Engage in case management activities to coordinate care with other healthcare providers and support services. Offer telehealth services as needed to ensure accessibility for clients. Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving therapeutic practices and outcomes. Provide support for patients with developmental disabilities and autism through tailored therapeutic approaches. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient and outpatient settings to enhance patient care.

Experience

A Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required. Licensure as a Psychotherapist or equivalent credential is preferred. Must be registered and in good standing with the CRPO. Experience working with children and families in clinical settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with behavioral health concepts, crisis management techniques, and patient assessment protocols is essential. Previous experience in hospital settings or clinics is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical records management is required. Must be able to speak Farsi.

Pay: $20.00-$123.23 per hour
