Job Description

We are looking for a registered psychotherapist to join our multi-disciplinary clinic.

Duties:

Provide individual counseling sessions to clients remotely based upon psychological assessors reports.

. Provide progress reports to evaluate the status of mental health needs post motor vehicle accident.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients and achieve optimum patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Complete required documentation for third party payers (auto insurance)

Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely fashion.

Qualifications:

Current certificate of registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

License in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario

Master's Degree (preferred)

Proven experience in providing physiotherapy services, preferably in a clinical setting/ remotely.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound clinical judgments.

Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest research and best practices.

Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and documentation requirements.

Knowledge of MVA and the ability to navigate Jane app is preferred.

Familiar with OCF forms/HCAI is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a psychotherapist or in a related field

Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments.

Strong knowledge of various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy is a plus

Social work skills to effectively communicate and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Worked with MVA patient's / other rehab clinics is preferred.
