Job Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and case management, with a particular focus on working with children and adolescents. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality mental health services, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient. The Psychotherapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients.

Responsibilities



Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations for children and adolescents. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions in a supportive environment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective treatment outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and case management activities. Engage in research activities related to pediatric mental health as needed. Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication with the healthcare team. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

Requirements



Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Valid licensure as a Psychotherapist or equivalent credential in the state of practice. Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with special education processes and resources is a plus. Previous hospital experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong skills in case management, data collection, and analysis related to patient outcomes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health practices is essential.
