Role Responsibilities:



Case Conceptualization:

Your skill in conceptualization sets the stage for a therapeutic journey focused on insight, self-discovery, and sustainable change.

Treatment Planning:

Recognizing that each client is unique, you tailor treatment approaches to consider their specific needs and preferences.

Intervention:

Your expertise in applying your therapeutic modality and your skill in adapting interventions to suit individual client needs are instrumental in guiding them towards positive outcomes.

Collaboration with a Multidisciplinary Team:

By working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, administrative staff, registered dietitians, students, and volunteers, you ensure that clients receive comprehensive and well-rounded support.

Progress Monitoring:

Through ongoing assessments and a keen understanding of clients' evolving needs, you contribute to the refinement and adjustment of treatment plans.

Quality Assurance:

You will be responsible for adhering to the highest quality assurance standards on documentation, maintaining records, and administrative processes. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that every aspect of our clinic's operations aligns with best practices, guaranteeing the highest quality of care for our clients.

Skills and Abilities:



The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

Education:

Masters Degree in psychology or related field.

Qualifications:

Registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (Qualifying members may apply). EMDRIA-approved EMDR training is required for this role.

Modality Experience:

The ideal candidate should have specific training in and experience with providing one of the following modalities: Internal Family Systems, EMDR (required), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic, or Experiential-based approaches. Knowledge and familiarity with cognitive interventions is also an asset.

Population Experience:

The ideal candidate must have prior experience treating trauma, anxiety, and depression. Experience treating moral injury, occupational burnout, prolonged stress, and grief is an asset.

Organizational Skills and Meticulous Attention to Detail:

The ability to organize information, maintain accurate records, and pay meticulous attention to detail is crucial for quality assurance, record-keeping, and maintaining efficient administrative processes.

A positive attitude and a readiness to collaborate is highly valued. In a dynamic clinic environment, flexibility, and adaptability are essential qualities.

Efficiency:

The ideal candidate should be able to complete tasks efficiently, ensuring the deadlines are met and operations run smoothly. Time management skills are essential in this role.

: We are looking for candidates who are comfortable navigating technology as we are an exclusively paperless office. We utilize an internal communication system (Flock), the Jane App, Zoom, and Google Drive for all of our operations.

Position Particulars:



Location:

This role is in-person in our welcoming and modern office, located in Kingston, Ontario.

Shifts:

This position requires 15 hours minimum per week across three shifts. Additional hours and shifts are available. We are hiring for the following available shift schedules:

Schedule #1:

Monday (9:00am - 3:00pm), Tuesday (3:00pm - 8:00pm), and Thursday (9:00am - 3:00pm).

Schedule #2:

Monday (3:00pm - 8:00pm), Wednesday (9:00am - 3:00pm), and Friday (9:00am - 3:00pm).

Term:

This is a contract position. The term is indeterminate. Position open until filled. Ideal start date: August 5, 2025.

Rate:

The rate for this position is determined based on the candidate's training and experience. Our company follows a predetermined pay structure that ensures fairness and consistency across all roles.
