Lakeside Women's Clinic is a holistic women's health clinic based in Barrie, ON. We have been in operation since February 2022 and have since serviced more than 7000 patients in the Barrie/Simcoe area and beyond. We are a small group of highly motivated female practitioners looking to expand our team to provide further services to our community.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Psychotherapist to join our women's clinic and provide individual therapy to women seeking support for a variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to reproductive decisions, trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety and depression. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals including our fantastic team of family physicians with special interests in women's health, nurses and a very supportive administrative team.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient consultations and progress. Provide individual psychotherapy to patients dealing with mental health concerns. Specialize in supporting women through mental health challenges related to reproductive health. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential clinical records. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated, patient-centered care. Facilitate psychoeducation and support groups if interested. Provide crisis intervention and referral services when necessary.

Qualifications:

Registered Psychotherapist with the Certified Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) Clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with women's health, reproductive health, or trauma-related issues. Knowledge of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. Experience working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy and care Experience working with electronic medical records systems (Jane EMR)

Compensation:

We are offering a competitive split percentage fee structure

Location:

Our clinic is located in Barrie, ON, however hybrid or fully remote work is available at the candidate's preference.
