About Us
Progressive Pathways BDS is a federally incorporated non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families across Alberta through
disability services, behavioural supports, equine-assisted therapy, and community integration programs
. We are expanding our mental health services and are seeking skilled and compassionate clinicians to join our team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a
Registered Psychologist
(College of Alberta Psychologists) or a
Clinical Social Worker (MSW, RSW - Alberta College of Social Workers)
to provide therapy and support services to children, youth, adults, and families. The role may involve:
Individual, group, and family counselling.
Specialized work with clients experiencing trauma, PTSD, behavioural challenges, or disabilities.
Collaboration with our multidisciplinary team, including behavioural specialists and equine-assisted therapy facilitators.
Assessments, treatment planning, and progress reporting where required.
In-person sessions at our central Alberta sites, with options for
virtual service delivery
.
Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Psychology or Social Work.
Active registration and good standing with
CAP
(psychologist) or
ACSW
(RSW with Clinical designation).
Minimum 2 years of counselling/clinical experience (experience in disability services, child/youth care, or trauma/PTSD an asset).
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice and diverse cultural competencies.
Ability to provide police/child welfare checks.
