Maple Manor Nursing Home in Tillsonburg is seeking Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) that are passionate about nursing to join our team!

SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Temporary Full time - evenings 2pm to 10pm Temporary Full time - day 6am to 2pm Permanent Part time- evenings 2pm to 10pm

WHAT WE OFFER

$27.38 - $29.03 depending on experience PLUS an additional $.25 per hour in lieu of extended health benefits 37.5 hours bi-weekly Paid Sick Days Employee and Family Assistance Program Life Insurance Matched Pension of 4%

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Graduate of an accredited nursing program Standard First Aid & CPR Long Term Care experience an asset Must have a sincere interest in people, the elderly in particular, and possess a genuine sensitivity to their needs Excellent assessment skills and a strong clinical background Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail Able to cope with physical and emotional demands of the job Punctual and reliable

ABOUT MAPLE MANOR

Maple Manor Nursing Home, locally owned and operated, is a long-term care facility located in the downtown core of Tillsonburg Ontario. As such it is in close proximity to many churches, stores, doctors' offices and our local hospital. The home is licensed by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and is Accredited through the Person-Centred Long Term Care Community Standards of CARF Canada. The Home is a 103-bed, smoke free facility offering private, semi-private and ward accommodations. In addition, Maple Manor has four temporary licenses for Interim Long-Term Care Home beds through the Aging at Home program. These beds provide a location for residents who would otherwise be kept in hospital while awaiting placement into a Long-Term Care facility.

Care and services for the residents are provided holistically such that their physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual needs are met to the best of our abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.84-$32.55 per hour
