Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) - Medical Dermatology Clinic (3 Month Contract)

Location: Barrie, Ontario

Work Schedule

Tuesday-Thursday: 10:00?AM - 6:00 to 6:30?PM (until closing)

Friday: 9:00?AM - 12:00 to 3:00?PM (depending on schedule)

We are a small, fast-paced medical dermatology clinic in Barrie, delivering high-quality care in a warm, team-oriented environment. We're seeking a dependable Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team on a part-time, 3-month contract at $25/hour.

Position Summary

This role is perfect for a reliable, organized, and flexible nurse. You'll support clinical care, minor dermatological procedures, and front-desk operations in our collaborative, patient-focused clinic.

Key Responsibilities

History taking and charting, deliver patient education, administer injections, and other delegated clinical tasks (training provided)

Assist the physician with minor dermatological procedures

Prepare instruments and restock treatment rooms for the next day

Handle administrative duties: Patient intake and check-in, Appointment scheduling & documentation, Phone enquiries and front desk reception

Follow-up communications

Maintain efficient patient flow and support smooth daily operations

Keep the clinic environment orderly, clean, and professional

Requirements

Current and active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

Valid RPN license and professional liability insurance

Experience with EMR systems (e.g., Accuro) is an asset

Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

Comfortable balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities
