to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with our doctors to deliver exceptional patient care while helping ensure the smooth, efficient operation of our busy dermatology practice.
This position is a
maternity leave contract
with the
potential to transition into a permanent role
for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Collect initial patient history and data during consultations
Accurately complete clinic notes and documentation
Perform treatments and procedures as trained, including:
Injections
Liquid nitrogen applications
Photodynamic therapy
Wound care and anesthetic application
Educate and counsel patients on their conditions and treatments
Prepare procedure rooms and supplies as directed by physicians
Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical instruments and equipment
Assist with clinical trials as required
Communicate results and follow-up instructions to patients as trained
Support smooth office operations by:
Stocking and maintaining exam rooms
Creating invoices and receipts in QuickBooks
Coordinating with team members to optimize clinic flow
Neurotoxin injections
What We're Looking For
Experience:
2+ years in a medical office or clinical setting (preferred)
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with EMR systems and QuickBooks; strong computer and phone system skills
Knowledge:
Understanding of medical terminology and basic dermatologic procedures an asset
Skills:
Excellent communication (verbal & written), problem-solving abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Team Player:
Positive attitude, adaptable under pressure, and dedicated to patient-centered care
