As part of an exciting initiative to expand the clinical scope of pharmacy services, we are looking for a

Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

to support delegated care within our pharmacy practice. This role focuses on enhancing patient safety, supporting opioid agonist therapy workflows, and improving access to care in a community setting.

Position Overview

This

part-time position

will primarily support Sundays in Chatham and occasional Wednesdays in Wallaceburg. The successful candidate must be available

most Sundays

and comfortable working independently in a structured environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RPN interested in a unique community care model blending nursing oversight, patient communication, and pharmacy workflow collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Support delegated nursing functions within the pharmacy, including patient identification and dose verification for methadone and Suboxone programs. Collaborate closely with the pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate, and patient-centered care. Communicate effectively with patients, maintaining professionalism and compassion. Assist with clinical documentation and contribute to workflow efficiency. Provide education and support for patients receiving addiction-related therapies. Participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

in good standing with the

College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

. Available to work most Sundays and occasional Wednesdays. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach. Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a team-based environment. Interest or experience in

addictions, mental health, or community health

considered an asset.
