Our family\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa6 Consists of Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) who deliver a great customer service experience by demonstrating compassion and empathy towards our residents, family members and team. We embrace a holistic, resident centric approach to care by delivering personalized services at the highest quality. How YOU make a difference RPNs are responsible for providing planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with the provincial standards of care. RPNs are an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team who build trusted relationships with our residents, families and teams with continuous ongoing and effective communication. RPNs implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plans and make changes as required. RPNs complete and ensure resident\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s clinical care assessments, care plans and documentation are accurate, up to date and communicate changes as required. RPNs teach, delegate and direct unregulated care providers, providing them with coaching & mentorship. What YOU bring \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in the applicable province \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Experience working with seniors and with unregulated care providers preferred \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long term care an asset \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Strong drive, respect and an understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Strong written and oral communication skills and critical thinking skills \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Demonstrated organizational and time management skills \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft office applications \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one How we recognize YOU \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Service recognition \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 Employee appreciation events \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\xa2 An open and engaging team that welcomes input for new ideas and programs
