To complete and ensure resident's health assessments, care plans and documentation are accurate, up to date and changes communicated as required Assist the Health & Wellness manager to facilitate resident's move in, move out and transfers To provide medication/ treatment administration and document care in compliance with RHRA, policies and procedures To process physician orders and safe keeping of drugs and narcotics, administer in compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies and procedures To plan, coordinate, manage & evaluate the resident's care plan working with the resident/substitute decision maker, physicians and contracted service providers To respond and manage medical emergencies; provide emergency first aid; respond to significant changes in resident's condition on occasion as required To teach, delegate, and direct Personal Support Workers To coordinate emergency response in the absence of Health & Wellness Manager To respond to resident & family concerns and ensure appropriate action taken and or concern/s communicated to Health & Wellness Manager and other departments To follow and assist in the coordination, implementation and monitoring of Infection Prevention and Control, Health & Safety and Clinical Programs for the Nursing Department
