Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. The RPN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including home care, nursing homes, and hospice care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and demonstrate excellent nursing skills to ensure the well-being of our patients.

Duties

Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist with daily living activities for patients, ensuring their comfort and safety. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management and medication administration. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Support pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort. Perform phlebotomy as needed for laboratory tests.

Skills

Proficient in medical terminology relevant to nursing practices. Experience in home care, senior care, or hospice care is highly desirable. Strong ability to administer medications safely and effectively. Familiarity with nursing home protocols and procedures is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Empathy and compassion towards patients to provide holistic care.
