Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing phlebotomy as required.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status, ensuring accurate medical terminology is used.
Assist in the development and implementation of care plans for patients in various settings, including nursing homes and hospitals.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care, particularly in acute and dementia care environments.
Maintain compliance with First Aid and CPR certification protocols while ensuring patient safety.
Requirements:
Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).
Possession of current First Aid/CPR certificate.
Experience in geriatric, long-term care, or retirement residence, is desirable.
Maturity, empathy, patience, and professionalism.
