We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, medical offices, and home care environments. As an RPN, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing individual health needs and developing appropriate care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
Assist in pain management strategies and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
Perform laboratory tests and phlebotomy procedures as required.
Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care quality and safety.
Skills
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices.
Proficiency in patient care techniques and pain management strategies.
Experience in both hospital settings and home care environments is preferred.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and the ability to perform phlebotomy tasks.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care processes.
