We are hiring a FT Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to work in SEMS Clinic, Barrie!

We are seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) who will be part of a diverse and collaborative care team that will provide services to a roster of clients in our Barrie Clinic. You will use evidence-informed nursing knowledge, skill, and judgment and work within your scope of practice to provide holistic nursing care to meet the physical, safety, emotional, and spiritual needs of clients and their families.

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Assist Physician as needed clinically, rooming, provide accurate documentation

\xc2\xb7 Assist within the EMR system, follow up phone calls with patients

Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

\xc2\xb7 Availability to work flexible weekday clinic hours

\xc2\xb7 EMR experience an asset but training will be provided if needed

\xc2\xb7 A valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and vehicle (travel required).

\xc2\xb7 Updated immunization records, clear criminal background check, and Vulnerable sector check are required upon hire.

\xc2\xb7 A willingness to attain required SE Health certifications.

\xc2\xb7 Strong computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, Email, etc.

\xc2\xb7 Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

\xc2\xb7 Well-developed interpersonal skills.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational skills.

\xc2\xb7 Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills.

\xc2\xb7 Works well in a changing environment.

\xc2\xb7 A demonstrated appreciation for Quality Improvement processes.

\xc2\xb7 A current CPR certificate is required.

\xc2\xb7 This is a physically demanding position and requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling/squatting, reaching chest and waist level (i.e. shoulder flexion), and numerous hand grips of varying forces.
