Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a casual compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team to pick up shifts as needed.
Hours are 7am to 7pm, 8am to 8pm or 7pm to 7am.
Pay is $27/hour (RPN, RN) or $20 (UCP)
Duties
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and assess resident's health status, documenting changes. Perform fall and care assessments Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems using MEDe-care. Assist Director of care with care plans
Requirements
Valid Registered Practical Nurse license (CNO) 2-step TB Test (less than a year old) Police Check for the Vulnerable Sector (less than 6 months) Experience working in a Retirement Home is an asset Mandatory only training through the Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA) before first training shift can be scheduled. Must wear scrubs (no patterns) and slip resistant shoes.
