We are currently seeking a
compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN or RPN)
to join our healthcare team.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Experience
Current Registered Nurse (RN)/ Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license in good standing.
Previous experience in respite care, cardio resp assessment, oxygen management, transfer with Hoyer lift, suctioning, is preferred.
Strong understanding of pain management techniques and standards of care.
Experience administering injections and managing infection control protocols is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Qualifications
CNO.
Up to date CPR.
Recent Criminal Record check (within 6 months).
Access to a personal vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.
Must have a valid G2 or G driver's license.
Fluent in both French and English language.
WHMIS Cert, AODA Cert, + Workers Health and Safety Cert. (Can provide training once hired if you do not have those certifications)
Ability to commute safely in all weather conditions.
