Located inside a local gym and a 3,200sq ft. Facility, Latitude Health is privately owned and operated multidisciplinary clinic within the Brampton area. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. As a Physiotherapist, you will work with patients to assess their physical conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to improve their mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall well-being. You will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and various physical impairments.
Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the physical condition, mobility, and range of motion of patients.
Treatment Planning
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, medical history, and patient goals.
Therapeutic Interventions
- Administer a variety of physiotherapy techniques, such as exercises, manual therapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy to address patient needs.
Monitoring Progress
- Continuously monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Education
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, postural improvement, and self-care techniques to facilitate recovery and prevent future issues.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans, in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as Chiropractors, Registered Massage Therapists, Chiropodist, Osteopath and Naturopath to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay Informed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in physiotherapy techniques and treatments through ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy and patience when working with patients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Knowledge of and commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Specialized certifications or training in areas such as sports physiotherapy, concussion, vestibular rehab, acupuncture, ART etc.
Salary:
The salary for this position will vary depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits may include health insurance and opportunities for professional development.
$40-$55 hourly with benefits
