Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in providing high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medication administration, medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a hospital environment. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive their medications safely and efficiently.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately. Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies. Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication therapy management. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols within the pharmacy setting. Educate patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy operations is beneficial. Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is advantageous. Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $18.00-$100.00 per hour

Every Weekend Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
