Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Confirm accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for release Receive prescription refill requests and verbal prescriptions in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations Receive customer prescriptions, gather all necessary information, ensure completeness of information Process prescriptions while ensuring accurate billing procedures are followed Complete the Recall Procedure for Pharmacy products Establish and maintain patient profiles, and scan and file patient records Contact prescribers for various functions Answer phones & provide customer assistance Perform inventory-related tasks Enter and reconcile invoices/credits Utilize wholesaler websites for various functions Assist with dispensary paperwork as directed Perform all acts under the expanded scope of pharmacy practice Maintain store standards and conditions Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding pharmacy operations
Skills

Education - CCAPP Accredited Pharmacy Technician Education Program. Licensure - Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists. Proficient with current PC systems and pharmacy software (Kroll). Interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships and a positive work environment. Language skills to communicate clearly and listen carefully in a respectful manner. Organizational skills to prioritize, plan ahead, manage time and be punctual. Customer service skills to achieve customer satisfaction by recognizing customer needs/wants. Receptivity to accept constructive feedback for continuous improvement. Initiative to identify and complete tasks independently.
