Costco Pharmacy 1240 is a Central Fill and Mail Order Pharmacy located in Burnaby, BC. We are looking to hire full-time (40 hours per week) Registered Pharmacy Technicians.

Description of position

:

Assists pharmacist to fill, dispense prescriptions for patients. Completes packaging verification for prescriptions previously checked for therapeutic appropriateness by the pharmacist to the extent permitted by provincial regulations. Selects generic substitutions when necessary. Assists patients over the phone, receives written prescriptions for Pharmacist, and retrieves filled prescriptions. Processes register transactions. Receives payment, makes change, processes checks, credit and debit charges. Provides prompt and courteous patient services. Answers phones, directs members to product location. Typical Schedule: Schedule may vary based on the needs of the business.

Qualifications

:

Completed provincial Pharmacy Technician certification or Completed a Pharmacy Technician course at a Community College

andThe Pharmacy Examination Board of Canada Qualifying Exam. Licenses/Certifications: Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing in British Columbia. Knowledge/Skills: Kroll software, math, and member service skills preferred.
Schedule:

Monday to Friday and Sunday.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $64,000.00-$81,000.00 per year
