We are an independently owned and operated local Pharmacy and Department Store that has been proudly serving all of the South Cariboo since 1967. Our goal is to provide our patients with all their pharmacy needs including Custom Compounding, Compliance Pill Packaging, Home Health Care and Medical Supplies.

Our company culture is one that promotes a positive work environment and work-life balance. Our Pharmacy is open Monday to Saturday (9am to 5:30pm) and closed on Sunday's and Statutory Holidays. Saturday shifts are limited as we share a rotation. We offer an excellent employee discount program that is valid on everything from cosmetics to fishing supplies.

We are looking for a full time Technician to work 24 - 40 hours per week. Full time employees receive a generous benefits package.

Registered pharmacy technicians are responsible for:

Prescription processing Accurately measuring, mixing, counting, and packaging medications Performing final technical checks on prescriptions Counselling patients on a variety of health devices Inventory management and ordering Customer service Freeing up the pharmacist to perform clinical responsibilities
The successful candidate will have:

A valid BC pharmacy technician license Good verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Exceptional customer service skills. Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task. Basic computer skills (experience with WinRx Pharmacy Software is an asset but not required). Problem solving skills

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
