Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and

Registered Nurses (RNs)

for

Long-Term Care (LTC) in Victoria, BC

.

General Requirements (All Applicants)

Current, unrestricted

LPN or RN license

in BC.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

or Nursing Diploma. 1-2

years of recent, full-time experience

in a relevant clinical setting.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

required; additional certifications as noted by specialty. Strong

clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills

. Ability to work in

fast-paced and high-pressure environments

, prioritizing patient needs effectively. Proficiency with

electronic medical records (EMRs)

and accurate documentation. Valid VSS Police Report Current and Valid Immunizations
Long-Term Care (LTC)

Role:

Provide compassionate, comprehensive care to residents, addressing both medical and personal needs to promote comfort and quality of life.

Additional Requirements:

Minimum

2 years of recent bedside nursing experience in LTC or similar settings

. Certifications:

BLS

Skilled in wound care, IV therapy, Medication administration, Respiratory care, and nutritional support.
