We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) experienced in IV sedation to assist with dental sedation procedures. This position is part-time and primarily required once per month (or as needed).The successful candidate will work alongside our dental team to monitor patients undergoing IV sedation, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer IV sedation under dentist supervision. Monitor and record patients' vital signs during procedures. Provide post-operative care and ensure patient recovery. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Comply with all infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Certification and experience in IV sedation or anesthesia. Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong communication and patient care skills. Previous experience in a dental or medical sedation setting is an asset.
Schedule:
One day per month (typically scheduled on November 29 and monthly thereafter, or as needed).
