Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to join our team at Safe Umbrella Healthcare. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in emergency situations, ensuring that patients receive the necessary medical attention promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities

Provide immediate and effective nursing care to patients in the emergency room. Assess patient conditions and prioritize treatment based on urgency. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate patient records using electronic health systems. Assist in diagnostic procedures and laboratory tests as needed. Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-treatment care.

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Canada. Proven experience in an emergency room or acute care setting is preferred. Strong patient care skills with the ability to handle high-stress situations effectively. Familiarity with electronic health records systems, such as Cerner, is an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.

Pay: $58.00-$68.00 per hour
