We are seeking a compassionate and dedicatedRegistered Mental Health Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care. You will utilize your expertise in senior care, pediatrics, and medication administration to ensure the well-being of our patients.
Note:
This is a travel nursing job so candidate should be open to travel to different locations in the province.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to patients
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems such as Epic or Cerner
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in a healthcare setting
- Experience in Medical-Surgical and Hospital settings is preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques

Qualifications:

Active BLS Certification
Immunization Record (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Two-Step TB (Or Chest X-Ray if two-step TB is not there).
