Lambton Golf and Country Club, founded in 1902, is a prestigious year-round private club located in Toronto that offers a high standard of golf, tennis, social, fitness, wellness, and dining experiences for our members and their families.

Job Summary

The Registered Massage Therapist will be a part of the Lambton wellness team. They will be responsible for delivering tailored massage treatments to members and documenting members progress, while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and preferences. Perform massages tailored to the specific needs of clients, including sports massage, deep tissue massage, and relaxation massage. Utilize various massage techniques and modalities to alleviate muscle tension, reduce pain, and enhance recovery. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area and throughout the facility. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, chiropractors, and personal trainers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) Skilled in basic techniques such as sports, deep tissue and Swedish massage. Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), acupuncture and other release techniques considered an asset. Open to sharing expertise and learning new skills At least 2 years' experience Proof of valid liability/malpractice insurance References

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday Sufficient strength and stamina to perform manual massage techniques, including deep tissue and sports therapy
