Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional care to clients. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the physical and emotional well-being of our clients through therapeutic touch and personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage techniques including Thai Massage, Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massages tailored to individual client needs. Assess client conditions by reviewing medical history and conducting thorough consultations to determine appropriate treatment plans. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment notes and progress updates. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their preferences, comfort levels, and any concerns during sessions. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques through continuous education. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with services rendered.

Qualifications

Valid licensure or certification in massage therapy from an accredited program. Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate with clients about their health conditions. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients. Previous experience in a spa or wellness setting is preferred but not required. A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism at all times. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.
