Responsibilities
Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage.
Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their wellness goals to recommend appropriate treatments.
Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
Document client progress and treatment details accurately in accordance with clinic standards.
Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments when appropriate.
Uphold all health and safety regulations, including sanitation protocols and COVID-19 guidelines.
Engage with clients professionally to ensure a positive experience that encourages repeat visits.
Requirements
Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and human anatomy.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and explain treatment procedures clearly.
Ability to work in a calm, professional manner while maintaining attention to detail.
Prior experience in a therapeutic or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
