Overview

The Armoury Sports Medicine and Performance Clinic is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. We are a medicine-rehab-performance clinic specializing in all areas of musculoskeletal care in Kitchener-Waterloo. The medical and rehab team uses an integrated and coordinated approach to manage our rehabilitation and performance clients.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and medical history to tailor massage sessions accordingly. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, to address client concerns. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care. Document treatment plans and client progress accurately in accordance with clinic policies. Uphold high standards of professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with clients. Maintain the treatment rooms in a neat professional manner including stocking products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization.

Requirements

Registered member (in good standing) with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario Proficiency in medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients and healthcare professionals. Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear understanding of client needs. Professional, positive, and passionate about helping clients feel their best Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
