We're seeking to welcome a Registered Massage Therapist to our team, to service our clientele at our new location in the Yorkville area.

Habibi spa offers an exclusive menu of personalized treatments focusing on beauty, wellness and wellbeing while using signature products for facials, massages and body treatments.

The RMT which fills the position will unlock the doors to our newly renovated Massage room, located on the second floor of our new Yorkville location with luxurious finishes and relaxation areas with a spectacular view of the city--providing guests with opulent and tranquil accommodations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance to spa protocols and certification practices Consultation with clients about medical history and problem areas Make clients feel welcome and comfortable, promote the benefits of massage therapy specific to each client and recommend frequency Preform services within the appropriate time allowed for the service Maintain treatment rooms in a neat, professional manner Properly sanitize and sterilize instruments and/or equipment Assist with keeping linens clean and tidy--replacing between sessions Accompanying guests to and from treatment room Utilize a wide range of manipulation techniques to reduce pain Maintain a positive attitude, be flexible and contribute toward a quality work environment Assist in activities including staff meetings, promotions, events etc. Comply with all applicable standards, rules and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma in Massage Therapy (or suitable equivalent) 2+ Years of Experience as an RMTExperience working in spa or therapy centre environment preferred
Proficient knowledge of reflexology, Swedish, prenatal, hot stone, trigger point, sports and/or deep tissue massage Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to keep a well-groomed, professional appearance Dexterous and able to stand for extended periods Comfortability with performing massages on diverse clientele

Do you have experience with any of the following techniques? (Swedish massage, hot stone, deep tissue, aromatherapy, shiatsu etc.) Do you have experience working in a spa or therapy centre? Are you able to commit a minimum of 2 days with corresponding times (to advertise across our platforms and scheduling system) for our clients? In addition, to remain on-call for the retainer days out of our commitment.
