Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our all female wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques including prenatal and postnatal massage and a commitment to providing exceptional care to clients. This role requires strong communication skills, a dedication to client satisfaction, and the ability to create a caring and therapeutic environment.

Duties

Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs. Assess clients' physical conditions and recommend appropriate treatment plans. Utilize various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal and postnatal massage. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good condition. Build rapport with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals. Keep accurate records of treatments administered and client progress. Stay updated on industry trends and new massage techniques through ongoing education.

Requirements

Valid licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to maintain professionalism in a therapeutic setting. Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not required. A passion for health and wellness, with a commitment to helping clients achieve their wellness goals.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $70.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 24 per week
