Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from stress through therapeutic massage techniques. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs. Assess client conditions and discuss their medical history to ensure safe and effective treatment. Utilize various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, to promote relaxation and healing. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience.

Qualifications

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey treatment plans clearly. Previous experience in a spa or wellness environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Pay: $74.05-$79.04 per hour
