Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them to relax, relieve stress, and address specific physical concerns. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and tailor your techniques accordingly, ensuring a positive and rejuvenating experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct client consultations to assess their needs and preferences. Perform various types of massages, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Utilize appropriate techniques based on individual client requirements. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized. Document client treatments and progress accurately in accordance with company policies. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment plans and any aftercare advice. Stay updated on industry trends and continue professional development through training.

Qualifications

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to enhance communication with clients and healthcare professionals. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients. Excellent communication skills to effectively discuss treatments and address client concerns. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. A passion for holistic health and wellness practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $65.00-$75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 35 per week
