Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation and relief from stress or pain. This role requires a strong understanding of various massage techniques, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and preferences.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatments. Document client progress and any relevant medical history using proper medical terminology. Provide excellent customer service by fostering a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client concerns promptly. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Skills

Proficiency in medical terminology to accurately document client information and communicate with healthcare professionals. Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients regarding their treatment goals and progress. Ability to adapt techniques based on individual client needs and feedback. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to massage therapy practices.

Pay: $85,000.00-$115,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

Registered Massage Therapist license for Ontario (preferred)
