Overview

RiseUp Massage is looking for full time professional, skilled, energetic, knowledgeable and passionate Registered Massage Therapists to join our team on a commission basis. 2nd year students with equivalent of 2200 hours are also welcome to apply. We are seeking a compassionate and professional Massage Therapist to join our Wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to help clients improve their health in a calming and supportive environment. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology related to health and wellness, and excellent customer service abilities.

Duties

Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to ensure personalized care Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients before and after sessions Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress in accordance with privacy policies Uphold all licensing, certification, and safety standards required by state regulations Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits and referrals Stay current with industry trends and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills

Qualifications

Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state law Knowledge of medical terminology related to health, anatomy, and wellness practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with diverse clientele Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a calm demeanor in a busy environment Prior experience in massage therapy is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for new graduates or those new to the field Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to industry standards Must have graduated from a minimum 2200 hour program New graduates are welcome to apply

Pay: $63.00-$78.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
